During the school year and during summer, personal and group tutoring lessons are offered in Math and Science for K-12 students participating in the Academy.

Teachers and volunteer high school students offer these 1 hour sessions after school on weekdays and on Saturdays.

The tutoring sessions strive to improve the students’ thinking and problem solving abilities.

Students can bring in their Math and Science home-work from school and receive personal instruction from one of the teachers/volunteers in understanding and completing their homework assignments.

Tutoring in other academic subjects is also offered.

The goal is to make sure students do well in school and get the academic support where needed.
