Job Responsibilities & Areas of Training
- Community events coordinator
- Assist choir business Manager with filling out artist request form
- Create programs that show order of performers for audience and music staff
- Complete equipment request form for equipment manager to bring proper equipment to each event
- Assist parent coordinator with calling artist to inform them of transportation, attire and time of event
- Take attendance of youth and children artist before and after performance
- Help with set up of information or booth at all community events
- Assist with sign up list for food donations, ushers, set up and clean up crew
Marketing and promotion training
- Create mailing list from audience at events, walk in customers, current and past program participants, community organizations etc
- Prepare flyers for public schools distribution
- List and contact advertising media outlets such as Spanish news papers, Community access TV., Radio Family magazine, Reader, Penny Saver to advertise upcoming events
- Write letters to organizations to obtain donated materials or create collaborations to better serve the student body and well as the community
- Create and maintain recruitment business cards, brochures and flyers marketing media for quarterly recitals, 2 yearly events and recruitment special events
- Create poster boards to keep current students and families informed of on and off campus events
- Publish monthly news letter
- Assist with outreach team to set up booths and community events and consult with local business for support and recruitment
- Office administration training

- Maintain attendance sheet
- Maintain student applications, orientation book, payment cards and payment envelopes available for new students

- Fill out and mail monthly and quarterly student report cards
- Create student call forms and contact choir members about choir rehearsals
- Mail birthday, anniversary, get well and graduation cards
- Filing curriculum paper work - theory, lesson plans etc.
- Operate copier and answering machines
- Deliver important messages to instructors and music staff as required
Customer Service
- Answer the phone and recruit all potential students
- Greet, orientate and enroll walk in program participants
- Work with parents and students to change classes and refer educational or personal problems to the right staff member or source
Stocking and inventory
- Fill out order forms to order new curriculum materials
- Class books, CD’s
- Receive new inventory and document on correct forms
- Package and return materials that are unused and not selling
- Stock incoming shipment of curriculum
- Order requested materials for students
Food Service Department
- Attend food handlers class and receive certificate
- Setup food & snacks for walk in customers
- Operate cash register
- Serve food to walk in customers as well as on site students
- Greet customers professionally
